NANOHOUR

Welcome to the Nanohour homepage!  The Nanohour is the abbreviated name for the Molecular and Electronic Nanostructure Seminar series held in the Beckman Institute at the University of Illinois.

The Nanohour is an informal discussion given to a diverse audience meant to introduce a range of new topics and stimulate discussion typically focused on physical phenomena at the micro/nano-level, nano-devices and structures, and fabrication techniques.

Format:

§       Two 20 minute talks or

§       One 40 minute talk

Location/Time:

§       Wednesday at 3:00 pm

§       Room 3239 in the Beckman Institute

We believe this series to be a fantastic avenue for professors, post docs, and graduate students to collaborate and present their research. Furthermore, this series provides graduate students an excellent opportunity to gain experience presenting to a professional group of peers.

Additionally, last year we began to record some of the presentations for archiving on the web at the Nanohub.  This provides an opportunity for our speakers to reach a greater audience than just the University of Illinois.

If you are interested in speaking at the Nanohour, please contact us!
